SCOPE

These Terms apply to all purchases made via Mæki Archive by both private customers (B2C) and business customers (B2B).
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.


PRODUCTS

Mæki Archive offers clothing, bags, accessories and interior textiles, including made-to-order pieces.

Most items are produced specifically after an order is placed and are not held in stock.
Small variations in colour, texture, and finish are part of the production process and are considered intentional characteristics of each piece.


PRICES & PAYMENT

All prices are exempt from VAT, as Mæki Studio operates as a non-VAT registered business (PMV).

The price shown at checkout is the final price at the time of purchase.
Payment is required at the time of order. Available payment methods are shown at checkout.


ORDER CONFIRMATION

An order is binding once confirmation has been sent by email.
We reserve the right to cancel orders in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or production issues. Payment must be completed before an order is processed.

 

PRODUCTION & DELIVERY

Production begins after order placement.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Denmark: 2–4 business days after dispatch
  • EU: 6–14 business days after dispatch

Production typically takes up to 7 days unless otherwise stated. Delivery times are estimates only.


SHIPPING

We (Mæki Archive) ship within the European Union only.

Shipping costs are shown at checkout.

The package(s) will be delivered to a parcel shop/parcel collection point near you.

Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery.


RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (CONSUMERS)

In accordance with EU consumer law (EU Consumer Rights Directive), consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal.

This does not apply to items that are:

  • made with special measurements/special details that are not in the standard selection, individually specified measurements
  • made in fabrics/materials that are not in the standard selection, selected by the customer

For the special custom orders (as mentioned above), all sales are final once production has begun. The customer will be informed when ordering a special item, whether it is possible to return the item.

For any standard (non-custom) items, you may cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order.


RETURNS

Standard items must be returned unused, in original condition, and where possible, in original packaging. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless otherwise agreed. The customer is responsible for the return items until they are delivered to Mæki Archive (Mæki Studio). The parcel has to be sent to our address, we do not collect parcels at parcel shops. The customer has to contact Mæki Archive before returning items, to get the return address.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

The original shipping costs will not be refunded.

If you wish to return an item or a full order, please contact Mæki Archive by email, info@maekiarchive.com, for return address.

Made-to-measurement (custom) items are non-returnable and non-cancellable once production has begun.

 

COMPLAINTS & WARRANTY

Consumers are covered by a 2-year right to complain under Danish law (Danish Sale of Goods Act).

This applies only to manufacturing defects and not wear, misuse, or natural material ageing.


INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website, including images, text, and design, is the property of Mæki Archive and may not be reproduced without written permission.

 

BUSINESS CUSTOMERS (B2B)

Business orders are not covered by consumer protection rules unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Terms for B2B orders may differ depending on agreement.


LIABILITY

Mæki Archive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Liability is limited to the value of the purchased product, unless otherwise required by law.

 

PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data is used solely for order processing and customer service.


GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes are subject to Danish jurisdiction.
