SHIPPING & RETURNS

Maeki Archive (Mæki Studio)


SHIPPING

At this time, we ship exclusively within the European Union.

As many of our items are made on order, orders are typically dispatched within one week of purchase. We take great care in crafting each piece, and we hope the quality makes the short wait worthwhile. If your order is time-sensitive, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’ll be happy to provide a more precise delivery estimate.

Once dispatched, estimated delivery times are:

  • Denmark: 2–4 business days
  • Rest of EU: 6–14 business days


Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on production and carrier conditions.

Shipping costs are shown at checkout.

The package will be delivered to a parcel shop/parcel collection point near you.

Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery.


MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS

Most Maeki Archive pieces are made specifically after an order is placed and are not held in stock.

Each item is individually produced, and slight variations in colour, texture, or finish may occur as part of the process.


RETURNS (CONSUMERS)

In accordance with EU consumer law (EU Consumer Rights Directive), customers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day they receive their order.

However, this does not apply to items that are:

  • made with special measurements/special details that are not in the standard selection, made to the customers individual specifications
  • made in fabrics/materials that are not in the standard selection, chosen by the customer

For the special custom orders (as mentioned above), all sales are final once production has begun. The customer will be informed when ordering a special item, whether it is possible to return the item.

For any standard (non-custom) items, you may cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order.


RETURN CONDITIONS

Where returns are accepted, items must be:

  • Unworn and unused
  • In original condition
  • Returned with original packaging where applicable

Return shipping costs are paid by the customer unless otherwise agreed.

If you wish to return an item or a full order, log into your account in the Mæki Archive store. There you'll see your orders and press the Request return (or Request cancellation) button directly on the order detail page. You are also welcome to contact us by email, info@maekiarchive.com, to inform us about your return.

The return should be sent to our address, Mæki Studio, Nørrevej 33, 3070 Snekkersten, Denmark. We will not collect returns from parcel shops.


REFUNDS

Once we have received and approved your return, refunds are processed within 14 days.

Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for purchase.

The original shipping costs will not be refunded.


FAULTY OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us as soon as possible with details and images.

All customers are covered by the Danish 2-year right to complain under the Danish Sale of Goods Act (Danish Sale of Goods Act). This applies only to manufacturing defects and does not cover wear, misuse, or natural material ageing.
